There’s a unique kind of electricity that happens when you bring ambitious, visionary people together. Over my 15 years of experience scaling global, high-growth organizations across technology, nonprofit, and creative sectors, I’ve learned that the right people, paired with the right structure, can change the world. 

 

**That is exactly why I am so thrilled to step into my new role as the Head of Feminvest Accelerator.** 

 

I’m Angelina Lee-Lundin, a Chief People Officer, Creative Director, and advisor. While I’m now based in Stockholm, my professional roots are deeply embedded in the fast-paced, competitive business landscape of New York City. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with executive teams to orchestrate large-scale initiatives, including the end-to-end launch of global divisions and the transformation of strategic operations across more than 120 countries. 

 

Beyond my current work as the COO of Helix Art Space, my passion lies in the engine room of business: the intersection of human potential, refined systems, and cultural foundation. As a dedicated advisor to growing startups, I have spent years specializing in operational strategy and leadership development, helping founders turn chaotic growth into sustainable success. 

 

**Why Feminvest?**

When I looked at what Feminvest is building, I didn't just see another accelerator; I saw a movement. The work we are doing to empower founders to refine their strategies, accelerate their growth, and build high-impact, world-class ventures is not just a job to me; it’s a mission. 

 

My journey has always been about bridging the gap between creative vision and structured execution. I believe that an ambitious idea is only as good as the team behind it and the culture that sustains it. By merging diverse entrepreneurial expertise with inclusive leadership frameworks, I aim to help our cohort build the organizational backbone required to scale their visions into reality.

Igniting Potential: Why I’m Joining Feminvest Accelerator

While growth may be slowing, it’s important not to mistake normalization for decline. 

 

A $2 trillion North American venture capital market would still represent one of the largest pools of innovation capital in history. The industry’s expansion over the last decade has created a deeper ecosystem of founders, operators, investors, and institutions than ever before. 

 

Slower AUM growth could also signal a healthier market. Capital is becoming more disciplined, valuations are becoming more rational, and investors are increasingly focused on sustainable business fundamentals rather than momentum alone. 

 

More importantly, some of the largest venture opportunities remain significantly underfunded. Women entrepreneurs continue to build and scale businesses at record rates, yet female-founded startups still receive a disproportionately small share of venture funding. This funding gap represents not only a diversity challenge but a massive market inefficiency. Investors who identify and back high-potential women-led companies have access to a largely untapped source of innovation, talent, and returns. 

 

At the same time, transformative sectors such as artificial intelligence, climate technology, biotechnology, digital health, and advanced manufacturing are still in the early stages of development. Many of the companies that will define the next generation of economic growth have yet to be founded. 

 

The next era of venture may not be defined by how much capital enters the market, but by how effectively that capital is deployed. The firms that uncover overlooked founders, emerging markets, and undercapitalized opportunities—including the growing wave of women entrepreneurs—may generate outsized returns in a more disciplined investment environment. 

 

The venture industry’s greatest growth opportunity may no longer be simply raising more capital. It may be allocating capital more intelligently.

The Bull Case for Venture Capital

**One year ago, Feminvest Ventures made its first fund investment in DAAR Cosmetics, alongside an investment in deep-tech company Digiclean.** 

 

After two profitable years, entrepreneur Daria Garipova, whose product launches have attracted hours-long queues across Sweden has taken the next major step in expanding DAAR Cosmetics. Following a successful rollout across all 26 Swedish stores of Lyko, DAAR is now launching in all 109 H\&M stores in Sweden, as well as in Finland and Denmark. 

 

To coincide with the launch, DAAR is introducing three new products: a setting spray, concealer, and eyeliner, alongside a limited-edition release of the company’s bestselling product, the Leart Lip Duo. 

 

DAAR is now taking the next major step in its expansion through a nationwide launch across all H\&M stores in Sweden, as well as in several Nordic capital cities. Starting in June, Swedish consumers will be able to purchase DAAR products throughout the country. The launch marks an important milestone for the fast-growing beauty brand, driven by strong demand in physical retail. 

 

“DAAR’s customers have been asking for us in stores. We are incredibly proud to now be represented in every H\&M store in Sweden. This is an important step for DAAR and a strong validation of the interest in our brand and products,” says Matias Ristiniemi. 

 

Through its partnership with H\&M, more customers will have the opportunity to discover DAAR’s product range in an inspiring retail environment with nationwide reach. The launch forms part of DAAR’s long-term growth strategy and its ambition to strengthen its local presence in the Swedish market.

She has achieved something very few company builders have managed to do: launch a profitable company from day one. International interest in the brand has been strong, driven by rapid growth. The company expects to double its sales while maintaining a profitable business model.
